November 3, 2009—Ridgeview Hospice provides a special kind of care to patients in the final stages of life. Hospice care seeks to meet the physical, spiritual and emotional needs of both the patient and family—with symptom and pain management as top priorities.
Through the generosity of the communities surrounding Ridgeview Medical Center, the Marie Steiner Kelting Hospice Home in Chaska has recently come into fruition. At times, hospice patients require complex symptom management beyond what can be provided at home. Patients of any age now have another choice for hospice care in this comforting, home-like setting. The facility is the first Medicare-certified hospice residence in the region to offer general and inpatient care.

or in honor of someone special. With a gift of $25 or more, you will receive a beautifully handcrafted heart ornament designed by artist Susan Beyer of Crowded House Pottery in Rice, Minnesota. The name of the person you wish to remember or honor will be handwritten on the ornament. It will be displayed on the Holiday Caring Tree in the Ridgeview lobby throughout the season. Ornaments may be picked up at the Ridgeview Foundation office after Monday, December 14. |
