Geriatric Emergency Department Accreditation (Waconia Campus)

Ridgeview’s Waconia Campus is certified by the American College of Emergency Physicians (ACEP) as a Geriatric Emergency Department Accreditation (GEDA) recipient. This accreditation recognizes emergency departments that provide excellent care for older adults. Since 2021, the Waconia Campus Emergency Department has held the Level 3 GEDA and was the first health system in Minnesota to achieve this accreditation.
