Ridgeview provided on-site medical services for 27th consecutive annual Winstock event
As it has since the event’s beginning in 1994, Ridgeview again provided on-site medical services at the 27th annual Winstock Country Music Festival, Aug. 19-21, in Winsted, Minn.
The event attracted more than 20,000 country music fans – spread throughout the music venue and six campgrounds with more than 4,000 campsites. Ridgeview’s coverage began Thursday, Aug. 19 at 8 p.m. and continued 24 hours a day until the end of the event on Sunday morning. At the peak, there were 12 Ridgeview staff members working at the event at one time and included an on-site supervisor, paramedics, EMTs, nurses and providers.
Ridgeview’s coverage throughout the event included an ambulance, three on-site medical carts and the Ridgeview emergency medical trailer. Forty-one people received care for minor conditions/illnesses in the trailer during this year’s event.
