Happy National Volunteer Week! Ridgeview has welcomed back 55 volunteers to the Waconia and Chaska campuses with plans to return many more in the coming months. Denis and Bonnie Laumann, Waconia, have volunteered at Ridgeview since their retirement in 2011. They have been steadfast volunteers and were so pleased to return to the Waconia campus when it was safe to do so during the pandemic. When asked why they enjoy volunteering at Ridgeview, they responded—in unison—“The people!” Bonnie added that they appreciate the opportunity to volunteer together. Denis can usually be found joyfully greeting people at the information desk, and Bonnie is just down the hall happy to help someone make a purchase in the gift shop.
