Enhanced imaging services at Two Twelve Medical Center

Ridgeview is now offering enhanced magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) at Two Twelve Medical Center using a new MRI system that has the ability to scan any part of the body — including the heart — expanding the imaging services available at Ridgeview’s Chaska Campus.

Ridgeview is pleased to be partnering with Minneapolis Heart Institute to provide this service. The cardiac MRI scans are read directly by cardiologists from the Minneapolis Heart Institute as using MRI technology to scan the heart requires a high degree of skill from cardiac experts. Offering this service at Two Twelve Medical Center gives residents in the greater Chaska area convenient access to high-quality imaging without having to travel far.

The new MRI system is the first to use BioMatrix Technology. BioMatrix Technology personalizes the scan to the unique, individual characteristics of a person’s anatomy. This provides clearer scans that offer greater precision and consistency, as well as shorter scan times which improves the patient experience.

Ridgeview offers a full range of advanced imaging services at its Chaska Campus. In addition to the new MRI system, Ridgeview also offers computed tomography (CT), positron emission tomography (PET), 2D and 3D mammography, ultrasound, general radiography (X-ray) and diagnostic injections for pain relief.
