Volunteer Opportunities
Volunteers for Ridgeview are people of various ages and in different stages of their lives. All of our volunteers share one common value of service to others. Some individuals serve as part of their retirement activities or as a way to give back to the community, while others want to gain exposure to the health care environment. No matter the reason, volunteers are an indispensable part of Ridgeview's team.
Ridgeview has a broad range of opportunities to accommodate the different life stages, interests and schedules of our volunteers. Volunteers participate in over 30 different volunteer opportunities throughout Ridgeview, our affiliated clinics and the hospice program. These opportunities are set up with designated days and times of up to four hours per shift.
To volunteer at Ridgeview, you must be at least 16 years of age (age 18 in some areas), successfully complete a state background study with fingerprinting and full immunization health requirement through our Employee Health Department. We ask that you commit to 100 volunteer hours in a year. Volunteers are also required to complete annual education requirements each fall.
