Teresa JK Bekkala, MSN, CNP, CPNP-PC

Teresa Bekkala, MSN, CNP, CPNP-PC, is a certified pediatric nurse practitioner who enjoys providing care for children of all ages at Ridgeview’s Pediatric Limited-Stay Unit.

After earning her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree at the University of Minnesota in 1991, Bekkala went on to work at the Children's Hospital of Minneapolis, and later as a travel nurse. She then spent the next 12 years working as a Nurse Clinician at the University of Minnesota Masonic Children’s Hospital Pediatric Blood and Marrow Transplant program.

In 2016, Bekkala earned her Master of Science in Nursing degree from Vanderbilt University, specializing as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner in Primary Care.

Outside of work, Bekkala enjoys spending time with her husband and family. She likes to stay active by cross-country skiing, biking and hiking (and almost any other outdoor pursuit). She also loves to travel both near and far from home.
