Guests Accompanying Surgical Patients
The emergency department waiting area is available to family and friends of surgical patients. All visitors, patients, and their friends and family, should check in at the registration desk.
If you need to leave the waiting area, please notify registration so you can be located if you are needed.
Following surgery, patients are monitored for approximately 30 to 60 minutes in the recovery suite.
Surgery Patients
Same-Day Discharge Patients: You will recover in a private suite and need a driver to take you home after a nurse reviews discharge instructions with you.
