TeleHeart
Ridgeview partners with Minneapolis Heart Institute® (MHI) to offer outpatient specialty TeleHeart appointments at our Arlington and Le Sueur Campuses.
Through the TeleHeart service, patients will have faster access to nationally-recognized cardiovascular specialists with no need to travel long distances. The cost for telehealth visits are similar to traditional office visits and usually covered by medical insurance.
Ridgeview staff start the face-to-face patient visits and review the patient’s presenting needs. They then connect the patient with an MHI cardiovascular provider via telehealth video equipment.
Conditions treated include:
- Cardiovascular consultations
- Echocardiogram (heart ultrasound)
- Holter/Event monitoring
- Nuclear cardiology (heart function test)
- Peripheral vascular imaging
- Stress echocardiogram
- Vascular & endovascular services
