Nursing Internship Opportunities

Ridgeview offers winter and summer nursing internships for eligible students who have completed their junior year of their baccalaureate degree nursing program. This is a paid (10-week summer and a minimum 4-week winter) internship providing an opportunity for students to gain experience, competency and confidence as they move into their nursing careers post-graduation.

Nursing internships are available in all hospital inpatient units, and efforts will be made to match applicants in clinical areas that support their career goals. The internship is a commitment of 64 hours per two-week pay period. Schedules will vary with day, evening, overnight and rotating weekend shifts.

Minimum education and work experience:

• Currently enrolled in a baccalaureate degree nursing program with graduation anticipated within 12 months of internship
• Enrolled in a clinical elective nursing internship course for the duration of the internship
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
