Dr. Heidi Edsill is a provider with Western OB/GYN, a division of Ridgeview Clinics. She provides the full scope of women’s health care including low and high-risk pregnancy, routine health maintenance, gynecologic and menopause care. She has special interests in working with teens, contraceptive management and minimally invasive procedures.
Dr. Edsill knew early in her medical training that she wanted to be an obstetrician gynecologist. She was drawn to the idea of caring for women throughout their lives and developing relationships with her patients. She strives to be a resource for her patients, providing knowledge to empower them to make the best choices for their health.
Dr. Edsill completed her residency training in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of Minnesota in 2011. While living in the Twin Cities, she fell in love with Minnesota and always hoped to return to practice here one day. After six years in academic medicine in Nebraska and two years as a laborist in Arizona, Dr. Edsill is thrilled to be joining Western OB/GYN and settling in Minnesota for good. When not working, she enjoys cooking, reading, running, being outdoors and spending time with her husband, two young children and their dogs.
