Matthew Kalina, DO, sees patients at Ridgeview Clinics in Chanhassen. Dr. Kalina practices the full scope of medicine, from acute illnesses to chronic conditions and has special medical interest in chronic disease management and substance abuse disorders.
Dr. Kalina prioritizes listening to his patients and getting to know them to provide personalized care in a way that is best for them.
Dr. Kalina began his career on the business side of health care helping to build a pharmaceutical system in Minnesota, but soon realized he wanted to be directly involved with patient care. This led him to attend medical school and to where he is in his career today.
Dr. Kalina enjoys cooking and often makes sauerkraut, kimchi, sprouts and kombucha. He is a sports fan and especially enjoys hockey and baseball – which he grew up playing in Perham, Minn. He also enjoys fantasy sports.
