Jeffrey D. Baker, MD

Dr. Jeffrey Baker is a board-certified general surgeon who has specialized in bariatric surgery and medicine since 1997. Following in the footsteps of his father, who was a pioneer in the field of weight loss surgery, Dr. Baker has performed more than 3,000 bariatric surgical procedures over the course of his career including sleeve gastrectomy, gastric bypass, gastric banding and revisional bariatric surgeries. 

Dr. Baker has been recognized for his preeminence in the field of bariatric medicine and has served on medical technology boards providing his expertise in care and in quality performance. Dr. Baker joined Ridgeview’s Bariatric & Weight Loss team in 2017. In 2019, he developed and was integral in the rollout of the non-surgical weight loss program at Ridgeview, expanding comprehensive care of Ridgeview bariatric medicine.
