Katelynn Walsh, MS, LAT, ATC

Katelynn Walsh, MS, LAT, ATC, is an athletic trainer at Mound Westonka High School. Walsh enjoys just about every aspect of sports — from practices and games to nutrition and sports performance. She strives to make the same impact on her student-athletes as her athletic trainer did when she was a student.

Walsh is passionate about injury prevention, rehabilitation and emergency medicine — making athletic training a perfect fit for her. She strives to keep her athletic training room positive and ensuring all student-athletes feel safe and welcomed.

In addition to athletic training, Walsh is certified as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) and works as a paid on-call firefighter. When she is not working with athletes or at the fire station, she enjoys going to concerts and attending live music events, and spending time with friends and family. She is also an avid reader, typically setting a goal to read 75 books a year.
