Ridgeview receives gift from Mound-Westonka Rotary Club
Ridgeview Foundation is grateful for a generous gift made by the Mound-Westonka Rotary Club. The $17,000 gift helped Ridgeview purchase a Glidescope for the new Norman and Ann Hoffman Emergency Center on Ridgeview’s Waconia campus. A Glidescope assists medical professionals with intubating patients who are having trouble breathing on their own. This device provides better visualization with the help of camera images of a patient's airway, making intubation quicker and more efficient.
The Rotary Club presented the check to Ridgeview staff on a recent visit and received a tour of the completed Phase 1 area of the new Emergency Center by David Larson, MD, Emergency Physician and Ridgeview Chief of Staff, and John Prondzinski, Vice President of Support.
Thank you, Mound-Westonka Rotary Club, for your donation. The Glidescope is an integral part of providing emergency care to our patients.
