13th Annual Under the Harvest Moon Gala Raises More Than $425,000

New fundraising record benefits the Cause for the Community campaign to create a robust mental health program at Ridgeview

Waconia, Minn.— (Nov. 22, 2023) – Ridgeview Foundation celebrated Ridgeview’s 60th anniversary by hosting its Under the Harvest Moon gala at Bavaria Downs on Saturday, Nov. 18. Community members headed back to the 1960s by donning dapper and dazzling attire to help raise more than $425,000 as part of the 13th annual celebration.

The event drew more than 350 attendees, employees, volunteers, community members and guests. This year’s event included a life-size game of Operation (a game that originated in the 1960s), and annual favorites like the Dessert Dash, Guess the Ounces and Jewelry Box Surprise. Ian Leonard, Fox 9 Chief Meteorologist, once again entertained the audience as the event emcee.

Proceeds from the event benefit phase one of the Cause for the Community campaign, a multi-year initiative to enhance nearly every area within the Ridgeview system. The fundraising goal of this event included raising money to meet the mental health needs in our community by building a multi-faceted service line at Ridgeview.

“Our community, like so many others across the country, has unmet mental health needs. Our patients deserve access to comprehensive mental health and addiction care close to home, which is why Ridgeview Foundation has made this a fundraising priority,” said Kelly Mulleady, Executive Director of Ridgeview Foundation. “We’re humbled by the generosity of our community members who share our mission of providing quality health care at Ridgeview.”
