3rd Annual Arlington Open raises more than $19,000

Proceeds assist with the re-opening of the Ridgeview Arlington Campus hospital cafeteria and enhancements to the Telehealth Program

Waconia, Minn.— July 24, 2023 – Community members gathered at the Glencoe Country Club for Ridgeview Foundation’s 3rd annual Arlington Open on Friday, July 21. The event raised more than $19,000, which puts Ridgeview Foundation one step closer to its goal of raising $35,000 for the re-opening of the Ridgeview Arlington Campus hospital cafeteria and enhancements to the Telehealth Program.

The event included a full golf tournament with teams competing for top prizes, a variety of contests on the course, including a hole-in-one contest to win a new car, sponsored by Brau Motors, and lunch.

“Our critical access hospitals serve an important role in ensuring the health and wellness of all residents in our service area. This is why fundraising events such as this one to support the Arlington campus are so powerful to ensuring quality health care is accessible close to home,” said Stacey Lee, Vice President & Administrator, Ridgeview. “We continue to be humbled by the support from corporate partners, event attendees and volunteers who make our fundraising events so successful.”

Ridgeview Arlington Campus is celebrating 75 years of serving the greater Sibley County area, making this year’s golf event even more special. The milestone year will be celebrated with a community picnic on Aug. 17 from 5-7 p.m. at Memorial Park in Arlington. Complimentary hotdogs, chips and dessert will be served.

There are more opportunities to support the Ridgeview Arlington Campus, including purchasing tickets for the Arlington Raffle for a chance to win a 2023 CAN-AM Defender, Traeger Grill, YETI cooler or a locally handmade quilt.
