In second consecutive year, Ridgeview Foundation raises more than $71,000 from two community events
Proceeds benefit Ridgeview Le Sueur Campus’ Rehab program and Ridgeview Pediatrics program
No one wants to travel far for health care, and the community showed its support for keeping quality care close to home by attending two Ridgeview Foundation events in two weeks, raising a total of more than $71,000.
On Friday, April 19, more than 200 community members of all ages gathered at Bowlero in Eden Prairie for the annual Pins for a Purpose event. Attendees enjoyed unlimited bowling, Bowling Bingo and a 50/50 raffle. This family-friendly event raised money for Ridgeview’s Pediatric program, which includes a newborn hospital rounding model and additional pediatric services; a limited stay unit where children with specific diagnoses can be treated at Ridgeview; and pediatric-specific equipment and technology.
The fundraising continued on Friday, April 26, with more than 150 community members attending the Tastes, Tunes & Taps event that featured Duelly Noted, a one-of-a-kind dueling piano act. Hosted by Inspired Technologies in Le Sueur, the event raised money for Rehab services at Ridgeview’s Le Sueur Campus. Proceeds from the event will help refresh Rehab spaces, purchase essential exercise and mobility equipment to help patients, especially those with Parkinsons, cancer, brain injuries and stroke survivors.
Tastes, Tunes & Taps attendees were treated to local fare from Mac’s Green Mill Bar, Velvet Touch Catering, Come & Get It! Catering, Pizzeria 201, Next Chapter Winery and Giesenbrau Bier Co.
“The generosity of our neighbors and friends continues to fuel our mission to ensuring quality health care remains a cornerstone in our community,” said Kelly Mulleady, Executive Director of Ridgeview Foundation. “We’re grateful to the overwhelming support our community continues to show Ridgeview year after year by attending our fundraising events. It shows just how dedicated we all are to keeping the best clinical team, state-of-the-art technology and advanced health care capabilities so close to home.”
Many local businesses were premier sponsors for these events including Emergency Physicians and Consultants, P.A., EPS, Inspired Technologies, Nicolet National Bank, North Central Emergency Vehicles, OBGYN West/Premier Women’s Health of Minnesota, Promotion Select and Ridgeview Medical Staff.
